Legacy Giving

Make a lasting difference through a legacy (planned) gift to Habitat for Humanity of Knox County. Legacy gifts, such as a bequest, life income plan or beneficiary designation, provide a way to support Habitat of Knox County in the future while maintaining control over your estate and assets.

Matching Gifts

Many employers will match tax-deductible charitable contributions made by their employees, retirees and employees’ spouses. Contact your company’s HR department for specific matching gift options. If you have completed a matching gift form, please include it with your gift to Habitat for Humanity of Knox County by mailing it in or emailing it to knoxcountyhabitat@hfhknoxoh.org

Cars for Homes

Car donations are another way to support Habitat of Knox County’s mission. When you make a donation to Cars for Homes, you help Habitat for Humanity of Knox County build and repair homes in your own community for families in need.

The car donation process is quick and easy. You can donate online or call toll-free to 1.877.277.4344. If you donate an automobile or other vehicles, you may be eligible for a tax deduction.

Kroger Community Rewards

Use your Kroger Plus card to earn points to donate to Habitat! Just shop, scan your card, and, voila!  At the end of each quarter, Kroger totals up points earned by each nonprofit and distributes money to them proportionately. The points earned don’t affect your earned discounts or points, the charitable component is a separate feature.

iGive is a free service where shopping at any of 1265 online stores like Amazon, Travelocity, and Home Depot sends donations to Knox County, Ohio Habitat For Humanity. The amount donated doesn’t affect your earned discounts or points, the charitable component is a separate feature.

In-Kind Giving

In-Kind Donations are items or services donated directly to our affiliate or a build project.

Construction In-Kind Donations

Donations of new building materials can be made to Habitat for Humanity of Knox County construction initiatives. Donations can also be made in the form of professional services required on construction sites, such as masonry, HVAC installation, electrical wiring, plumbing and more.

Non-Construction In-Kind Donations

In-Kind donations can also be made in the form of non-construction services offered by local donors. Lawyers, accountants, graphic designers, interior designers and financial counselors are just a few of the services that can be contributed to help further Habitat for Humanity of Knox County’s mission.

When you donate new or gently-used items to a Habitat ReStore, you’re making affordable homeownership a reality, and you’re also keeping perfectly usable items from needlessly going to waste in a landfill. Donations to the ReStore are tax-deductible.
